Lauren Bailey PA-C, a Chester County PA native, completed her undergraduate studies at Greensboro
College in North Carolina. Lauren went on to complete her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at
Shenandoah University. Lauren had an immediate interest in helping women stay healthy during her
OBGYN clinical rotation only confirmed she was meant to work in women’s health.
After graduation from PA school in 2010, Lauren joined a GYN office in Winchester, VA for a year before
moving to Montana to join an OBGYN practice. She lived in Montana for three years and, although she
loved being in a beautiful state with some of the most gorgeous national parks, the pull to come back to
the East Coast to be closer to family was something she could no longer ignore.
Lauren made her way back to the East Coast and worked at Christiana Care as a PA-C for the hospital
OBGYN group. She assisted in the operating room with c-sections, hysterectomies, and other
procedures. Out of the operating room, she worked with postpartum patients, and evaluated OB triage
emergency patients. She met Dr. Apel and Dr. Smith during her time at Christiana Care and enjoyed
working with them. When Lauren was pregnant, she was cared for by Dr. Apel and Dr. Smith and
absolutely loved the experience of care she had at Women Living Well.
Lauren officially joined the Women Living Well team in Fall of 2020. Her favorite parts of OBGYN care
are establishing and building relationships with patients, aiding in women’s health and wellness, and
having the opportunity to work directly with some of the best physicians in the area.
When Lauren is not working, she loves to spend time outdoors with her husband Patrick and two
children.
